JOIN THE NEWLANE EXPERT COMMUNITY
Do you have an advanced degree (Master’s or above) and are interested in getting involved in an innovative way to deliver education at Newlane University?
We are currently looking to find experts in a range of fields to help us make education more accessible to the world.
Opportunities can range from 1-2 hours a month to many hours a week depending on your availability and the current student demand.
Our professors work with students in a variety of ways, including:
- Grading and giving feedback on student projects.
- One on one course hearings (oral exams) over video chat.
- Creating mini video lectures and/or sourcing instructional content.
- Curriculum building of courses and degrees (writing degree aims, course goals, learning objectives, assessments and projects)
Because of our modular educational design, Newlane experts can participate in one or two or all of the above mentioned activities whenever they are available.
For their participation at Newlane, experts will receive the following:
- An hourly honorarium for their expertise and time.
- Gratifying experiences engaging with students from around the world, helping them progress through their education.
- Experience participating in a completely new modality of education.
- Future opportunities to help shape degrees and courses in your field.
As Newlane grows and builds out its educational offerings we will be giving first options for participation (building out core courses that will be used in multiple degrees, department chair and board opportunities, etc) to our early faculty and community participants.
